Type PP Platen
- Steam or hot water
Type SIB Platen
- Steam, hot water or hot oil heated and/or water or oil cooled
- Can be used in applications where more severe heating and cooling cycles are experienced
- Not preferable where numbers of edge-mounting holes are required
Type WP Platen
- Steam, hot water or hot oil—heated, water or oil cooled
- Normally used in applications where severe heating and cooling cycles are not experienced
Type MS Platen
- Steam, hot water or hot oil heated and/or water or oil cooled
- Most versatile vapor or liquid platen—holds up well when extreme heating and cooling cycles are experienced
- Normally allows greater flexibility where numbers of edge holes are required
